Chicken Paties

Ingredients:

  • Puff pastry (dough)-300 gram
  • Chicken Minced-250 gram
  • Onion (chopped)-1
  • Ginger/Garlic Paste-1 tbsp
  • Coriander (chopped)-1/2 bunch
  • Crushed Black Pepper-1 tsp
  • Green Chili (chopped)-3 to 4
  • Egg-1 (for garnishing)
  • Oil-2 to 3 tbsp
  • Salt-As required

Puff Pastry Or Pie ingredients:

  • All Purpose Flour (maida)-1 kg
  • Butter (un salted)-1/2 kg
  • Salt-1 pinch
  • Water-For making dough


Method:

  • Put butter in the fridge and leave it until it turn hard.
  • Take Flour, salt, water and make a dough.
  • After that roll on the dough in a smooth surface, put butter in the center of the dough.
  • Now take a side of dough fold it and roll on in the smooth surface.
  • Take another side of dough and roll on in the smooth surface.
  • Like that fold and roll on at least10 to 15 time. Now put this dough from fridge.
  • Now you can make different type of puff pastries from this dough.


For the preparation of Patties:

  • Take a pan put oil in it Now put onion and fry it.
  • After that add chicken, ginger/garlic paste and cook it well.
  • Now add black pepper, salt, green chili and again cook it for a while until it gets dry.
  • Take dough and roll on it over smooth surface and cut it in a circle shape.
  • After that take one piece of patties out chicken mixture in it apply egg in the corners of the patties and cover it with another piece of patties.
  • Take pre heated over 180 C and baked it for 30 to 35 minutes
